Chanukah street party in Tel Aviv

Chanukah, the eight-day Jewish holiday, is here — and the city of Tel Aviv is throwing a street party to celebrate!

Starting at 12 noon on Friday, Nov. 29, a variety of DJs are set to perform on five stages, each offering different types of music including: mainstream, Israeli, hip-hop, electronic and gay.

The third candle for Chanukah will be lit during the party, and warm sufganiyot (jelly-filled donuts) will be sold.

The party is taking place near the intersection of Ben GurionBoulevard and Ben Yehuda Street, about one kilometer north of the hotel. (Click here for directions.)
