2020 Tel Aviv marathon, the largest international sports event in Israel, will take place on Friday, February 28th, at 6am. Similar to other marathons around the world, large parts of the city will be closed off for traffic on the day of the event. Some 40,000 runners are expected to participate in the marathon. Registration prices start at ILS50 for the children’s mini marathon and up to ILS330 for the full marathon.

The various marathon tracks pass by some of the main sites of the city. The runners will go through Rothschild Boulevard, Tel Aviv-Jaffa Port, the city’s beaches, Tel Aviv promenade, Ganei Yehoshua Park, Dizengoff Street, Rabin Square, Ha’Yarkon Street, Ibn Gabirol Street and Old Jaffa. Plus, Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon is one of the only marathons in the world where runners can run up to 10K along the seashore.
