Craft & Bloom, 3 Goldman Nahum Street, Yafo
Craft & Bloom began at the start of 2015 in order to combine and share some of the founders, married couple Emma and Ofer’s favorite things. Workshop, gallery and garden – this “makespace” is a 450 sq. meter playground of inspiration and creativity and showroom to their own furniture line that infuses principles of local production, adaptive design and use of beautiful raw materials. The workspace is open to makers – designers and artists, professionals and hobbyists – and is a place where they celebrate community by hosting a variety of DIY workshops and events. Come and have a look for yourself at their official opening party on Friday, September 4 p.m.
Noga Erez Live Performance at Kuli Alma 10, Mikve Israel Street
Young telavivan Noga Erez that has performed at the prestigious Primavera Festival for Alternative Music in Barcelona earlier this year is still virtually unknown back home. She will debut her new material at Kuli Alma, a music and art-focused nightlife institution nestled into the creative crux of south Tel Aviv on the 8th of September. This show consists solely of new material written by Noga and performed together with Ran Jacobovitz on drums. Her voice is reminiscent of dreamy Icelandic super star Bjork and her background as a percussionist shines through in the rhythm and melody of her catchy yet slightly dark acoustic style. This is a show you don’t want to miss!
La Culture “Animalism” Affordable Art Exhibition 9, Mazeh Street
La Culture is an initiative that created a platform for young, emerging Israeli artists to show their art and for art -lovers on a budget to explore and enjoy high quality art. In celebration of Tel-Aviv’s Illustration week 2015 La Culture if opening a new exciting exhibition that is all about ANIMALISM featuring 80+ local young and promising illustrators and artists at Mazeh 9, Tel-Aviv. The art-scene in Tel Aviv is everything but stuffy and La Culture is a great example of a contemporary and relaxed way of indulging in some culture and get to know the locals at the same time.
Start-up Grind – The Cocktail Party 10, Nissim Aloni Street
